A lifetime resident of Madras, Tami Thomas (Tolman) has been in the beauty industry for 25 years. From 1986-2003 she was self-employed at the Hairworks where she worked alongside her mom, Judy Knapp as a hair technician. From 2003-2005, she was employed at Brightwood as a grader. This break from the industry along with the physical demands of millwork brought her a new appreciation of the career she had left behind. With a new perspective and a lot of excitement Tami was able to step back into her field when she joined the staff at Opal Day Spa. Proficient in all forms of hair care she also offers natural nail services including manicures and pedicures. Tami feels very fortunate to have raised her family in such a wonderful community such as Madras. She has enjoyed a variety of clients over the years, some having been with her from the beginning, and always welcomes new guests that she can provide services for.
